Integrate Consulting is a young company with a foundation of experience and high aspirations for itself and its customers both present and future. The two directors, Gary May and Simon Cole make the ideal combination for the development of Integrate Consulting. Gary has over 20 years in the education field. He is the founding director of Integrate Consulting (a public sector business consultancy), he has worked in education with the local government sector, DFES, LSC and OfSTED. Simon has a combination of public sector and commercial experience from over the last 25 years which he applies to busness development and service delivery.
Gary May
Gary has a Diploma in Community and Youth, Masters Degree in the Management of Community Education. Gary is currently the Managing Director of Integrate Consulting whose clients include; Fujitsu Services, VERSA professional services, NCFE, Tribal Group and Place Group. Integrate Consulting has an Alliance with Place Group Ltd.
Professional Accomplishments
As Head of Connexions Bolton and Head of Organisational Development Bury, his achievements are as follows: Gary established a successful new Advice and Information service for young people in Bury, and the Connexions Service in Bolton. Gary led the Organisational Development and Change Management programme including successful integration of staff and services across Bury Education and Children Social Services. Gary managed two Connexions contracts and the successful integration of staff form the commercial and public sector. Gary developed integrated working approaches with Youth Offending Teams, Looked After Children Services and Children with Disability Services. Gary established a successful partnership with 40 agencies from the public, voluntary and commercial sectors that Gary later transferred into the Local Strategic Partnership. Gary led on a successful tender for a Connexions contract and is experienced in influencing and negotiating service change and development. Gary has written and implemented development, delivery and transitions plans and has reviewed consulted and evaluated plans and programmes.
Gary is experienced in partnership working with the voluntary and community sector and the Public Sector including the involvement of young people and has written on this area. Gary has developed a ‘Quality Framework for Service Provision to Young People.’
Gary has written NVQ levels 1 to 4 courses.
As DfES Policy Analyst/Development Adviser his achievements were: the management of the first sitting of the United Kingdom Youth Parliament for DfES; establishment and contracting of the Millennium Volunteers Regional and National Fora; and advising on the 14 first stage Connexions Partnerships Business Plans.
Simon Cole
Simon is a new Director to Integrate Consulting whose primary task is to grow the business. He will be drawing on his many years experience in both the commercial and public sectors to achieve this.
